With the Ensemble La Beata Olanda, she has made the first recording of all the violin sonatas by Elisabeth Jaquet de la Guerre for Salto Records. Her intensive involvement with Demachy’s Pieces de violles from 1685 was accomplished with the financial support of Neustart Kultur des Deutschen Musikrates. It has led to many concert opportunities, the publication of the complete score of all eight suites by Güntersberg (G400), and the present recording of all four tablature suites in cooperation with SWR.
Franziska Finckh plays a seven-string bass viol by Christian Brosse, made in 1995. It is a copy of a French model by Nicolas Bertrand.
